Top Art and Design Apps on Android in Costa Rica: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Art and Design category on the Android platform in Costa Rica saw some interesting trends among the top five applications.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor showed a strong performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue saw a peak of around $6K in late February, while downloads climbed steadily, reaching over 7.2K by the end of March. Active users also increased significantly, peaking at approximately 175K in the week of March 10.

Genius: AI Photo Generator experienced a notable surge in downloads, particularly in late March, with numbers jumping to 13.6K. Active users mirrored this trend, climbing to about 13.4K by the end of the quarter. Revenue began to appear towards the end of March, reaching $132.

Creati AI Photo Generator had a more volatile quarter. Weekly downloads spiked to 5.9K in mid-January but later settled to around 1.2K by the end of March. Revenue showed a gradual decline, with a slight increase to $221 at the quarter's close. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking early and stabilizing at around 1.9K.

Draw Cartoon - AR Drawing App saw steady growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose to 4.3K in late March, while active users reached a peak of 4.3K in the same period.

Sketch Art: Drawing AR & Paint experienced significant growth in March, with downloads peaking at 7.1K in the week of March 10. Active users also increased, reaching 10.3K by mid-March.
